Nasa Johnson Space Center!

Last weekend, I went to the NASA Johnson Space Center! This is just a museum, and the actual control room is right across from it. In the museum, you can the Saturn V rocket, watch how people live in the International Space Station, and so much more cool stuff!

So, the first thing you should see is the artifacts. You will understand what the rocket names are, and a lot of things about space. You will find the Lunar Module LTA-8, Apollo 17 Command Module, Gemini V, and more Modules, rockets, and space suits in the Starship Gallery! The next important thing are the shows. There are four shows as of late June 2024. In one show, they talk about living in the ISS (International Space Station). In another live show, they talk about the Atermis mission.

If you are wondering what the Atermis mission, it is a new NASA program that is the sister to the Apollo missions (1961-1972), and they will send the first colored person and the first woman to go to the moon. NASA will also explore more life possibilities, and they will make more discoveries about the moon and beyond.

My favorite part of the center was the gallery of EVERY crew who ever went into space. Its bigger than you think! I also loved all the exhibits; especially the space suits.

You can also see some other exhibits outside the museum. (Tram tours). I went on one where you get to see the room where the Apollo mission control was working. And they had a few more tours, like the Astronaut Training Faculty tour, and George W.S Abbey Rocket Park tour.

And the fun has ended! So the best thing to do is to have fun in the GIFT SHOP!!! I got a NASA keychain, shirt, and magnet. And yes, the gift store is extremely necessary in the trip.
