Elementary Must-Haves

I just experienced elementary school, and its really fun! You also learn a lot, obviously. But there are some things I wish I had knew before I started this great year of education and friends. Here is a guide to the primary years and what you need to survive.

Backpack Items

My backpack gets messed up very easily. When I had a small snack or candy wrapper, like a Jolly Rancher, I would put it randomly somewhere in a pocket. The trash built up, and didn’t turn out very good! So always keep a tiny resealable bag! Another thing to keep is a folder. My homework or papers would always get crumbled, so keep one folder pocket for things to take home and things to take to school. Also, keep a pen and mini notebook in your bag. I like to put reminders, friends phone numbers, and other stuff in those notebooks.

Snacks and Lunch

For snacks, keep one for grades K-3, and two for 4-5 grades. You should keep apples, oranges, blueberries, trail mix, or granola bars. For lunch, pack on main meal like a sandwich or pasta, and a side of fruit or something. Don’t forget to always pack a large water bottle! Stanley’s, Hydro flasks, and Yeti’s are good quality, large bottles

Extra Clothes

Its not necessary, but if there is a clothing emergency, like a rip or large bleed, pack extra clothing. You can also pack a sweater to wear or tie on to your waist if you don’t bring extra clothes. The sweater trick saved me once!

Well, those are the stuff that will be helpful in elementary school!
